Heather Keung is an emerging artist and curator from Toronto, Ontario who graduated from OCAD in 2003 from the Integrated Media program. Her artistic and curatorial practices both examine issues of identity, intimacy, and physical experience through the use of media – video, installation, and performance art. Inspired by repetitive daily actions and physical labour, her current media work looks at involuntary responses, habitual social behaviours and the training of the mind and body. An active contributor to the media arts community in Toronto, she has worked with Images Festival of Independent Film and Video, Planet in Focus Film Festival, Trinity Square Video, and Vtape. Keung is Artistic Director of the Toronto Reel Asian International Film and Video Festival.
